Single half width swingout for your High Clearance or Crossmember Retaining rear bumper. Comes with spare tire carrier.
Add-ons / Upgrades:
- Camp Table (+$225)
- Fold down aluminum camp table that mounts to the backside of the tire carrier.
- 28"x14.5" surface.
- Has built-in bottle openers.
- 60 lb capacity.
- GX470 & GX460 only: If you are adding a camp table to the swingout, you will want to have it built on the left/drivers side. The camp table bracket will hit the barn door with the swingout in the 2nd lock position if you have it open to the right/passenger's side.
- Ratha HD Dual Shear Hinge Upgrade (+$100)
- HD dual shear hinge from Ratha Precision Design.
- Recommended if you are running 35"+ tires or carrying extra fuel/gear on the swingout.
- E3 Machine Latch Upgrade (+$125)
- Upgrade from the standard compression latch to the E3 Machine Ultimate Billet Compression Latch.
- Includes a spring plunger to lock the latch in closed position.
- Pad lockable.
- Please let us know what color you would like in the order notes. Otherwise will be given the black handle and black base option.
Swingout Direction:
- Left / driver side (tire carrier on left / drivers side)
- Right / passenger side (tire carrier on right / passenger side)
- It is recommended for the swingout to be built with the spindle and tire carrier on the right/passenger side. This helps level out the rear and correct any lean caused by the gas tank on the drivers side.
A few other notable features:
- Standard swingout spindle locks at 0, 95, and at 120 degrees.
- Standard spindle includes Ascend branded cap.
- Optional Ratha HD hinge locks at 0, 90, and at 120 degrees.
- Wheel mount on the tire carrier has multiple mounting locations and can be raised or lowered.
READ BEFORE YOU ORDER:
- Swingout will be welded to and combined on same pallet as the base bumper if ordered together.
- If you order at a separate time than the base rear you will need to weld it to the base bumper yourself. Separate shipping charge will also apply.
- No guarantee on the full width or dual swingouts working with aftermarket hatch mounted ladders.
- Depending on wheel offset, you may have to run spacers on the tire carrier in order to prevent the sides of the tire from hitting the swingout.
- When running swingouts with a spare or extra weight from gear, you may experience a slight shake or bounce when hitting repetitive bumps.
- You will need to relocate your license plate.
- The bumper and swingouts are only shipped as raw steel. There may be evidence of anti-spatter spray, oils, areas with light surface rust, small amounts of weld splatter, and shallow scratches caused during manufacturing and/or shipping.
REAR BUMPER HALF WIDTH SWINGOUT
This bumper ships freight! It will be palletized and delivered to the freight terminal closest to your location for you to pickup. You will receive tracking information once it ship. Once it arrives at your local terminal you will be contacted to schedule pickup.
Flat Rate: The average cost to ship this bumper (and any add-ons) within the lower 48 is $350.
Local Pickup: If you are local to Stillwater, MN or are willing to make the drive you are welcome to pick up your order from our shop for free. Once your order is ready you will be contacted to schedule a time to pick up.
